Employee Development Manager

Responsible for building and maintaining employee development within the company. This included managing the design and delivery of all training programs and also overseeing the Employee Development Center, a learning resource center for company employees. Reported to the Group Vice President of Human Resources. Additional responsibilities included coaching managers and employees on development and management issues, internal consulting with the business units within the company, career counseling, and partnering with other Human Resource managers on related initiatives.

Accomplishments included:
• Conducted leadership coaching with managers based upon results from a multi-rater (360-degree) feedback tool
• Appraised existing training programs and implemented changes, or created new courses to update internal company classes
• Evaluated, recommended, and partnered with external training providers
• Assisted in the design and overall implementation of a shared-values process
